How I Manage Stress (Without Overcomplicating It)

Stress is part of life, especially when you’re building something, managing clients, and trying to grow at the same time. I’ve learned that if I don’t stay ahead of it, it will catch up to me.

So instead of chasing some perfect routine, I stick to three things that actually work for me.

🧘 Meditation: Resetting My Mind

Meditation is how I slow everything down.

When my brain is going a hundred miles an hour, this is what brings me back to center. It helps me clear out the noise, ground myself, and get focused again.

It doesn’t have to be long or complicated either. Even a few minutes can completely shift my mindset.

🏃 Running: Burning Off the Chaos

Running is where I release everything.

Stress, frustration, overthinking, all of it gets burned off when I’m moving. It’s not just about fitness, it’s about getting out of my head and back into my body.

Some of my clearest thoughts come during a run, or honestly, sometimes I don’t think at all… which is exactly what I need.

🎺 Music: Letting It Out

Playing the French horn and trumpet is something different.

It’s not about productivity. It’s not about work. It’s just expression.

Music gives me a way to process emotions without having to explain them. It’s grounding, creative, and honestly one of the fastest ways I can shift my mood.

The Real Tea

For me, stress management isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about having a few things I can consistently come back to.

  • Something to quiet my mind

  • Something to move my body

  • Something to express what I’m feeling

That’s it.

Simple, but it works (for me!)
