June 3, 2025 – June 3, 2026
One year ago, Evergreen Accounting Services began with a simple idea:
Accounting doesn't have to feel cold.
It doesn't have to feel intimidating, confusing, or like you're just another number in someone's filing cabinet. It can be personal. It can be welcoming. It can be built on relationships, trust, and genuine care for the people behind the numbers.
When I launched Evergreen on June 3, 2025, I didn't have a giant office, a huge marketing budget, or a long list of employees. What I had was a dream, a laptop, years of experience, and a belief that small businesses and individuals deserved an accountant who would truly sit at their table and help them grow.
Over the past year, Evergreen has become so much more than I ever imagined.
I've had the privilege of helping new business owners take their first steps. I've celebrated with clients who reached milestones they once thought were impossible. I've helped untangle messy books, answer difficult tax questions, and provide peace of mind during stressful seasons.
But more importantly, I've been trusted.
Trust is something that can't be purchased. It can't be advertised into existence. It is earned one conversation, one tax return, one reconciled account, and one late-night email at a time.
To every client who chose Evergreen this year: thank you.
Thank you for believing in a new business.
Thank you for sharing your stories, your goals, your challenges, and your dreams.
Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your journey.
This past year has also been deeply personal.
There were moments of excitement and moments of uncertainty. Days when everything seemed to click into place and days when I wondered if I was building something that would truly last. Every entrepreneur knows those feelings. Every small business owner has stared at a ceiling at 2 a.m. wondering if they're making the right choices.
Yet through every challenge, Evergreen kept growing.
Like the evergreen trees that inspired our name, we stayed rooted. We weathered storms. We continued moving forward.
As I look ahead to Year Two, my vision remains the same:
To provide honest guidance.
To make accounting approachable.
To help businesses grow with confidence.
To serve people, not just spreadsheets.
The numbers matter. They always will.
But behind every balance sheet is a family, a dream, a risk someone took, and a future they're trying to build.
That's what Evergreen is really about.
So today, I'm celebrating one year of growth, one year of lessons, one year of relationships, and one year of proving that accounting can be both professional and personal.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of this journey.
Here's to Year Two.
May we continue to grow together.
With gratitude,
Michael Saxon, Founder, Evergreen Accounting Services LLC
